Southern Main Range 28-31 December
First day, Otaki Forks to Kime Hut. The day started with us crossing the slip on the road an hour from the forks.
Second day was cloudy and wet so we went along the Main Range only as far as Maungahuka.
Third day we went the along the range to Andersons and then down to Waitewaewae.
Final day we went out from Waitewaewae along the track. Windfall was common and the slip not far from the forks has taken the track out again. Then back down the road to the cars.
