A hot day saw 11 of us leave from the Titahi Bay carpark and head south. A highlight was a feeding show from a seal who was trying to kill and then eat a large fish just off-shore.
After about 2 1/2 hours beach walking we stopped at the point where wet feet would be required. A nice local lunch and then back the same way, with a swim at the Open Bay sandy beach. Overall a fun day, with the need for lots of sun cream.
