Leader: Dave Cox

A lovely day, with a tail northerly wind. Some of us gathered at Pukerua Bay railway station and walked down the Goat Track to meet Tony and the others.

Then all 29 of us headed along the beach for our first break at Nobby's place - interesting to see so many birds on Wai Rock. Unfortunately the waves were too big for safe swimming, so a few disappointed faces. Then onward to a lunch spot and then to Plimmerton Cafe for the traditional coffee etc - having picked up another 3 along the way.

An enjoyable day. Thanks to Neville for handling the front end and to Darrel for mustering the rear.
