Leader: Owen Cox

We met up at Pukerua Bay Station. Our route started with a walk through the forest reserve by Raroa Place to the top of the cliffs above Marble Arch. Great views from here.

We then followed the fence line along to the top of the escarpment before dropping down the ridge above Wai rock and the Point to the top of the cliff. We then angled around to the stream before dropping down the steep rib next to a small but pretty waterfall to the beach. We met Sandra there.

We followed the beach back to Pukerua Bay and climbed the first zig-zag track to the road and the cars. Finished with coffee at the bakery in Paekakariki.
