Another stunning Ruahine trip. Saturday - We left the Titirangi road end and headed up the track to the Whanahuia Range. Then north along the range over Maungamahue and then down to Pourangaki Hut. Sunday - Down to the Pourangaki River and down the river to Kelly Knight Hut for lunch. Then we traveled downstream using parts of the track to the Pari Stream junction. Then up Pari Stream to where a track took us up to join the track we used the day before, about where it enters the bush. Then back to the cars.
