Kawhatau Base 15-17 July

A weekend based at Kawhatau Base. Friday - We arrived at Kawhatau Base around 10:30pm. Saturday - Up the track behind our accommodation to the summit of Colenso. Sunday - Drive to the Hihitahi Forest Sanctuary and up the Hihitahi Forest Sanctuary Track to Hihitahi and on to Zekes Hut. Then return the same way.
