North Ohau and Mangahao 10-11 December
Saturday - We departed from Poads Road carpark and headed up the Ohau and North Ohau River for lunch at North Ohau Hut. Then we headed up the high ridge directly behind the hut and the track down to the Mangahao River. Down the river to Mangahao Flats Hut. Sunday - Up the Mangahao River to Girdlestone Saddle. Then down into the South Ohau River, passed Dowling Falls to South Ohau Hut for lunch. Then down the South Ohau River and back to the road end.
