Otukota & Iron Bark 21- 22 May

Saturday - We left the Mokai Road end and started up the track which eventualy climbed on to the Mokaipatea Patae Range. On the way we had a brief detour to Miracle Hut which was built in the late 1990's by Mokai Station. It was eventually removed April 2025. After lunch we descended down the track to Otukota Hut. Sunday - We traveled down the Maropea River to Iron Bark Hut. Then up the track behind the hut and out of the bush to the tops, then back down across the farmer’s land to the cars.
