Starting out up the river towards Daphne hut
The top of the steep climb up to Howletts hut
Elisabeth outside Howletts hut
Phil shooting the amazing scenery
Mike, G-Monster and David admiring the scenery
We toasted marshmallows after dinner (thanks Badjelly!)
The snowy peaks were our halfway point on Sunday (lucky I got us up at 5:15am hehe)
Our first glimpse of Sawtooth
and Around...more fun than you could poke a stick at
Phil, Matt and G-Monster resting on one of the teeth
We made the midway point (who's for a snowball fight?)
The drop down to the saddle between Black Ridge (if you look closely you can see some of the group to the left of the first slip on the right)
As you can see, it's quite a drop into the beforementioned saddle
Lunch by a beautiful tarn on Black Ridge (GUO is giving a peace sign...probably eating mung bean sandwiches too)
John the Butcher joined us
Tramping is all about breaking down barriers!
The track back down to the river
The end of a fantastic walk
