Kime Hut and Hector Sunday 10 November

A regular day walk

Misty forest on Tirotiro Knob

It was pretty cloudy first thing

Mt Kapakapanui poking out the cloud

We finally came out of the cloud on Table Top

A rest at the top of Bridge Peak (I wanted to go on but the others insisted!)

There she is...Kime hut #3

It was very flash, two water tanks, a deck

Double glazing all round

Windows on the south side

A solid roof

...but still not finished!

We decided to continue on to Mt Hector. There she is...Mt Hector #1

Looking back at Mt Field

The last bit of the climb is always the hardest bit

We made the top

It was a bit blowy, but not too bad for Mt Hector

A rest out of the wind (Old Boots ate fruit and jelly...fruit and jelly! I tell you, the man's gone soft!)

Ask me what he had for lunch...Salad! Yes salad, with cheese and dressing and other girly stuff...apparently he 'enjoys a salad'

The cloud lifted and it was a stunning, warm day
