A weekend up to Forks hut and back

The first bit of climbing sorted!
Te Ekaou hut smelt of rats and had lots of droppings...on the subject of rats, there's Nev and Pistol
Forks hut was meant to have rats, but we didn't really see any signs
Grant fell over and got a dirty bum...it was very very dirty!
It was a steep climb back onto the ridge
Looking back down to the stream by where we'd stayed
The track was in a mess, overgrown and lots of old wind fall
and back to the farm land
