Te Atuaoparapara 17-18 May

A spectacular walk across Te Atuaoparapara in the Central Ruahines. Friday night at Triplex Hut. Saturday - Up to Sunrise Hut and up to the main range, passed the Top Maropea Hut turn off and then along the ridge to Te Atuaoparapara. Then along to Waipawa Saddle and down into the headwaters of the Waikamaka River and Waikamaka Hut. Sunday - Back up to Waipawa Saddle and over down the Waipawa River for along lunch in the sun at the Waipawa Forks Hut helipad. Then out down the river.
