Burn Hut-College Creek Loop Sunday 11 October
Day walk loop up to Burn hut and out via College Creek
It was nice travel in the bush along the river
Then we started climbing
Then we climbed up onto the tops
Burn Hut in the distance
We love tracks that go through the leatherwood
Lunch at Burn Hut, it was nice out of the wind
Looking back at the hut as we climbed again after lunch
Monsta - whatever it was, it wasn't me!
Spike Milligan made an appearance!
A short rest on the downhill spur
Then we were in College Creek
It was easy travel and nice scenery
We finished at Mangahao No 1 dam
Looking back from where we came from
