Ready to head out to Ships Cove

Our Kayaks were waiting for us ready for loading (which took some time!)

we liked it so much that we flagged kayaking for the day and decided to set up camp

some of us went for an afternoon walk along the Queen Charlotte walkway. Our campsite beach can just be seen

and Pistol snorkeled for some mussels - we had an awesome chowder that night

Ratimeara Bay - our second night camp. It was a relief to get there after an afternoon fighting the wind and tide

we found a 'native' penguin to join the group
