Some of us decided to have a walk to Mid Pohangina hut and back
Pistol taking a spill on a wet log
It was a stunning creek
Rain stopped play and we didn't make Mid Poh
So headed back to Cattle Creek hut for a comfortable night
Climbing back out from Cattle Creek
We decided to go north and get a bit of red line that joined up to a trip that came out the Apiti Saddle some years ago
It was pretty overgrown
We returned the same way and ate lunch back at the packs
Back at Stanfield
We came out via Holmes Ridge
