Marlborough Sounds - Sea Kayaking 26-28 February
Three day kayak trip. Starting at Picton and heading up east side of Queen Charlotte Sound to Dieffenbach Point and into Tory Channel, for the first camp at Ngaruru Bay. The next day we paddled along the northern side of Tory Channel and around into Queen Charlotte Sound, which we crossed to camp at Ratimera Bay. The last day was back along the west side of Queen Charlotte Sound passing Allports Island before crossing to the west side by the Snout. Then a short paddle back to Picton.
