A trip in two halves, with two days great weather.

On Friday six keen members assembled with their bikes at the school and headed up Valley Road to Queen Elizabeth Park. A quick spin through the park and around Paekakariki saw people taking several different paths. However the thought of home-baked hot cross buns ensured everyone reached Glenda and Chris's in good form for the end of the trip. Thanks Glenda and Chris.

On Monday we assembled again in Plimmerton, headed down hill, and worked our way past the sections of track which were temporarily closed for railway works. Then a good clear run past the Police College, up into Bothamley Park and across Ascot Park. A little bit of map and GPS reading and a "bonus" hill climb got us to the Pauahatanui Cinema for morning coffee. Then a lovely ride beside the harbour, past Mana and up hill for lunch.
