An interesting variation to the standard Holdsworth-Jumbo circuit. Saturday - We went up to Donnelly’s Flat and up an old part of the Atiwhakatu Track. Then across the Te Whakaturakau Stream and up on to Pinnacle Ridge. Then along to Pinnacle Saddle and back down to Te Whakaturakau Stream to join the Atiwhakatu Track. Then up to Jumbo Hut. Sunday - Up to Jumbo and along to Mt Holdsworth and down the Mt Holdsworth Track and Gentle Annie Track to the carpark.
