We left South Karori Road carpark and then went up the Koru track to the top of Makara Peak where we ate our sandwiches. We came back down via North Face, Swirly-Wirly and Starfish. The ‘fast’ group then went back up Koru and started back down via Lazy Fern, only to come across slow group stopped and in repair mode. Meanwhile, Gareth the fittest, went around again!
