Our trip was a large loop from the Holdsworth road end.
Thurdsay - Walk into Atiwhakatu Hut.
Friday - Up the Te Whakaturakau Stream to the track to Pinnacle Saddle and up the Baldy Track to Baldy. Then up to South King and down the ridge to Dorset Creek and then up to Dorset Ridge Hut.
Saturday - Up to Dorset Ridge and down to Park Forks. Across the Waiohine River and straight up to Nichols Hut. Up on to the main range and south over Mt Crawford and Junction Knob to Andersons Memorial Hut.
Sunday - South along the main range to Kahiwiroa and Aokaparangi. Then down to the Waiohine River and up to Mid Waiohine Hut.
Monday - Up to Isabelle and Mt Holdsworth and down to Powell Hut. Then down the Mt Holdsworth Track and Gentle Anne Track to the road end.
