A three day trip to Waterfall Hut. Friday - Waipawa River to Smith Stream Hut. Saturday - Onto the main range and along to a point where we decended a scree to Rangi Creek and Kawhatau River to Waterfall Hut. Sunday - Back up Rangi Creek and over a saddle to Waikamaka Hut and over Waipawa Saddle and down the river to the cars.
