Mt Thompson - Mt Mick Circuit Tuesday 21 February

We set off from Waitohu Quarry and along the logging road and up to Mt Thompson. We followed the logging road down to the junction. Then onto the track towards Mt Mick. We stopped to look at the plane crash site (a WW2 Lancaster bomber). Then down to the valley to old boggy farmland tracks and then onto the logging road and back out to the cars.
