Rangiwahia - Deadmans 19-20 September
On the Saturday morning the rain had eased off as we set out from the carpark up to Rangiwahia Hut for the night. Sunday morning was frosty but clear and sunny as we climbed to the top of the Whanahuia Range. Tony’s group, which had stayed at Triangle Hut, joined us for lunch at the bushedge down from Mangahuia. We all then headed down the well formed track through the bush back to the car park.
